Barangay Tambo Balagbag was established in 1811 with a very few and isolated families west of Daine and east of Tambo Malaki. It is primarily rural with a total land area of 90 hectares. It is bounded on the south by Barangay Tambo Munti Kulit, on the east by Barangay Tambo Malaki and on the west by Barangay Daine.
As the basic political unit, the Barangay serves as the primary planning and implementing unit of the government policies, plans, programs, projects and activities and as a forum wherein the collective views of the people may be expressed and considered and where disputes may be amicably settled.
