Alulod

According to history, Barangay Alulod existed during the Spanish time. A Spanish general assigned in the area directed the planting of bamboos in various places within the barangay because they came to know that it has many uses. It was also recorded in the history that the bamboos were used as gutters (Alulod in Spanish) when it is raining. Hence, the place came to be known as Alulod.

Barangay Alulod has a total land area of 645.06 hectares. It is located more or less three kilometers from the poblaci├│n and is bounded on the north by Barangay Mataas na Lupa, on the south by Barangay Kaytapos, on the east by Barangay Pangil of Amadeo and on the west by Barangay Bancod.
