Agus-os
Barangay Agus-os was formerly a sitio, situated at the northern part of Barangay Calumpang Cerca. In 1980 the sitio was declared barangay, in a plebiscite held for the purpose, and since then started to enjoy the full benefits given by the municipal government.
The Barangay is located in the northern part of Indang more or less five kilometers from the población, 7.5 kilometers from Tagaytay City and 51 kilometers from Manila. It has a length of 4.5 kilometers and an area of 157.19 hectares and is bounded on the north by Barangay Calumpang Lejos, on the south by Barangay Calumpang Cerca, on the east by Barangay Bancod and on the west by Barangay Banaba Cerca.
As the basic political unit, the Barangay serves as the primary planning and implementing unit of the government policies, plans, programs, projects and activities and as a forum wherein the collective views of the people may be expressed and considered and where disputes may be amicably settled.
