Buna Cerca
Barangay Buna Cerca was formerly a part of Buna Lejos. It was named Buna Cerca because it is located near the población. It became a separate barangay by virtue of RA 3590 dated June 22, 1963.
The Barangay is located more or less two kilometers from the población. It is bounded on the north by Barangay Kaytapos, on the south by Barangay Mahabang Kahoy Cerca, on the east by Barangay Limbon, and on the west by Barangay Kayquit. It has a total lang area of 304.73 hectares classified as rural area.
As the basic political unit, the Barangay serves as the primary planning and implementing unit of the government policies, plans, programs, projects and activities and as a forum wherein the collective views of the people may be expressed and considered and where disputes may be amicably settled.
