Barangay Guyam Munti was formerly a sitio of Guyam Malaki. It was called Guyam Munti because it has a very small area and very few residents. Primarily classified as rural with a total land area of 238 hectares, the Barangay is more or less 11 kilometers away from the población. It is bounded on the north by Barangay Lumampong, on the south by Barangay Guyam Malaki, on the east by Barangay Harasan and on the west by Barangay Pajo, Alfonso, Cavite.
As the basic political unit, the Barangay serves as the primary planning and implementing unit of the government policies, plans, programs, projects and activities and as a forum wherein the collective views of the people may be expressed and considered and where disputes may be amicably settled.
