Lumampong Balagba

Barangay Lumampong Balagbag was established in 1851 under the leadership of Gobernadorcillo Alejandro de Ocampo. It is more or less six kilometers away from the población. It is bounded on the north by Barangays Daine I and II, on the south by Barangay Lumampong Halayhay, on the east by Barangay Tambo Munti Kulit and on the west by Barangay Taywanak, Alfonso, Cavite. It is primarily classified as rural with a total land area of 287.38 hectares.

As the basic political unit, the Barangay serves as the primary planning and implementing unit of the government policies, plans, programs, projects and activities and as a forum wherein the collective views of the people may be expressed and considered and where disputes may be amicably settled.
