Barangay Kayquit III, Iocated in one of the highest portion of the Municipality of Indang, is more or less 3 kilometers away from the poblacion. It is bounded on the north by Barangay Kayquit I, on the south by Barangay Asis of Mendez, on the east by Barangay Mahabang Kahoy, and on the west by Barangays Kayquit I and Carasuchi. It is primarily classified as rural with a total land area of 319 hectares.
As the basic political unit, the Barangay serves as the primary planning and implementing unit of the government policies, plans, programs, projects and activities in the community and as forum wherein the collective views of the people may be expressed and considered and where disputes may be amicably settled.
