AVAILING OF IMMUNIZATION SERVICES

THE PURPOSE of this service is to immunize children 0 to 11 months old from 7 immunizable diseases.

Also, the pregnant mothers given vaccines to prevent the occurence of Tetanus both in mother and infant.

This service is provided free-of-charge and available every Wednesday of the month at the Main Health Center. While for respective barangays, depends on the schedule of the respective midwives.

The MUNICIPAL HEALTH OFFICE manages a Family Planning Program.

For the schedule, clients/couple who is interested about the services, they can consult at the Main Health Center from Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm daily. While for the barangays, depends on the schedule of the midwives duty

AVAILING OF MATERNAL SERVICES

THE MUNICIPAL HEALTH OFFICE (MHO) provides a comprehensive maternal care program for pregnant, pregnant mother that will give birth and lactating mothers.

Pre-natal consultation (consultation from 1st month of pregnancy to 9th month) and post partum consultation (42 days after giving birth) is provided free-of-charge and available from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm and extends as necessary. In addition, for pregnant mother that will give birth in the main health center, the service is available 24 hours and 7 days a week with corresponding fees.

Also, the main health center renders newborn screening service from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm from Monday to Thursday, then 8:00 to 10:00 am with corresponding fee.

AVAILABLE SERVICES FOR DETECTION AND TREATMENT OF PULMONARY TUBERCULOSIS (PTB)

THE MUNICIPAL HEALTH OFFICE manages an anti-tuberculosis program. The purpose is to identify and treat patients with tuberculosis (TB).

Diagnostic Exam such as sputum exam , TB Drugs and medicine are provided free-of-charge.

AVAILING OF ANIMAL BITE SERVICES

The Municipal Health Office provides animal bites services, this service is available to all resident of Indang free of charge for Anti Rabies Vaccine only. If needed to be given Erig Vaccine for cat III Treatment, the patient is entitled only 1 vial of Erig for free. Health cards are being used to operators and employees after physical examination and after attending the Food Handlers Class to all food handlers.

AVAILING OF DENTAL SERVICES

The MUNICIPAL HEALTH OFFICE provides dental services such as dental examination, tooth extraction, oral prophylaxis, restoration and sealant application.

This service is available to all residents of Indang including, pre-school & school age children and pregnant mothers to further prevent oral diseases. This is free of charge.
