AVAILING OF IMMUNIZATION SERVICES

THE PURPOSE of this service is to immunize children 0 to 11 months old from 7 immunizable diseases.

Also, the pregnant mothers given vaccines to prevent the occurence of Tetanus both in mother and infant.

This service is provided free-of-charge and available every Wednesday of the month at the Main Health Center. While for respective barangays, depends on the schedule of the respective midwives.

The MUNICIPAL HEALTH OFFICE manages a Family Planning Program.

This is available for free to all clients for limited stocks only.
For the schedule, clients/couple who is interested about the services, they can consult at the Main Health Center from Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm daily. While for the barangays, depends on the schedule of the midwives duty

AVAILING OF UID INSERTION AS ONE OF FP PROGRAM

This is available for free to all women at reproductive age and sexually active.

AVAILING OF VISUAL INSPECTION WITH ACETIC ACID

This is available for free to all sexually active women ages 25-55 years old.

For the schedule, Clients who is interested in the service, they can inquire at the main health center from Monday- Friday 8:00am- 5:00 pm daily.

AVAILING OF MATERNAL SERVICES

THE MUNICIPAL HEALTH OFFICE (MHO) provides a comprehensive maternal care program for pregnant, pregnant mother that will give birth and lactating mothers.

Pre-natal consultation (consultation from 1st month of pregnancy to 9th month) and post partum consultation (42 days after giving birth) is provided free-of-charge and available from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm and extends as necessary. In addition, for pregnant mother that will give birth in the main health center, the service is available 24 hours and 7 days a week with corresponding fees.

Also, the main health center renders newborn screening service from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm from Monday to Thursday, then 8:00 to 10:00 am with corresponding fee.

A. For Pregnant Mothers in their First Trimester ( 1-3 months)

B. For Pregnant Mothers in their Second Trimester (4-6 months) & Third Trimester

C. For Pregnant Mothers in their Third Trimester, Last month (9th month) up to Post Partum Visit (If give Births at Municipal Health Facility)

AVAILABLE SERVICES FOR DETECTION AND TREATMENT OF PULMONARY TUBERCULOSIS (PTB)

THE MUNICIPAL HEALTH OFFICE manages an anti-tuberculosis program. The purpose is to identify and treat patients with tuberculosis (TB).

Diagnostic Exam such as sputum exam , TB Drugs and medicine are provided free-of-charge.

Who May Avail of the Service:

Any person with cough for 2 weeks or more with or without the following symptoms:
• fever
• progressive weight loss
• chest or back pains  not referable to any muscle & bone problem
• hemoptysis or recurrent blood streak sputum
• weight loss
• loss of appetite
• tiredness/night sweating
• fatigue
• body malaise
• shortness of breath

PROCEDURE ON CONSULTATION FOR PATIENT WITH DIABETES MELLITUS, HYPERTENSION, & URINARY TRACT INFECTION (UTI)

Aside from general consultation, the MUNICIPAL HEALTH OFFICE provides service for the patients with lifestyle related diseases such as hypertension, diabetes mellitus and urinary tract infection.

This is free of charge except for the laboratories (check laboratory services for more info)

AVAILING OF ANIMAL BITE SERVICES

The Municipal Health Office provides animal bites services, this service is available to all resident of Indang free of charge for Anti Rabies Vaccine only. If needed to be given Erig Vaccine for cat III Treatment, the patient is entitled only 1 vial of Erig for free. The Municipal Health Office in cooperation with Population Commission provides seminar for the couple who wants to get married. This is conducted every Tuesday morning only from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.

REQUESTING FOR WATER ANALYSIS OF DRINKING WATER SUPPLY SOURCES

The MUNICIPAL HEALTH OFFICE ensures and safeguards the quality of drinking water. The rural sanitary inspectors, in particular, provides service  for water analysis of drinking water supply sources including water refilling stations, barangay waterworks, and deepwell owners.The MUNICIPAL HEALTH OFFICE ensures and safeguards the quality of drinking water. SECURING PERMITS FOR DISPOSAL OF DEAD PERSON

The MUNICIPAL HEALTH OFFICE, thru the environmental sanitation section, issues burial permit, permit to open old tomb and transfer permit as per Implementing Rules and Regulation of Chapter XXI of the Code on Sanitation of the Philippines (PD 856).

This service is free of charges and schedule from Monday- Friday, 8:00am – 5:00 pm and extends as necessary.

DISEASES PREVENTION AND CONTROL PROGRAM

SECURING SANITARY PERMIT AND HEALTH CARD

THE MUNICIPAL HEALTH OFFICE issues a Sanitary Permit to operate in all business establishments after the actual inspection.

Health cards are being used to operators and employees after physical examination and after attending the Food Handlers Class to all food handlers.

The MUNICIPAL HEALTH OFFICE provides dental services such as dental examination, tooth extraction, oral prophylaxis, restoration and sealant application.

This service is available to all residents of Indang including, pre-school & school age children and pregnant mothers to further prevent oral diseases. This is free of charge.
